Hamptons in Tamahere

This unusual shaped kitchen originally had no island, and was very dated. Then, the Cambridge Kitchens team stepped in to transform it!

The scotia was removed before the initial kitchen removal took place, and put back when when the kitchen was completed. This was to preserve the character of the home, and ensure that the kitchen complimented the interior design throughout.

We knocked out a wall to extend the space, and installed beautiful custom designed cabinetry. This included lacquer painted shaker doors, which were finished by hand. We added an island, updated the flooring, and even custom-made the skirting trim to match with the remainder of the house.

The client had specific requirements for their appliances, including the need for a dehydrator to be stored and easily access. They also specifically did not want a pantry, as they have a large garden and grow everything on their property to eat fresh.

Beautiful high end appliances finish off this high end look, creating a family kitchen that is bright, functional, and perfect for these clients.
